project overview
This project started as a simple feedback session where I reviewed the previous Mulsy website structure and provided some tips as to how to improve the overall design and structure. After that I was invited to work on the website improvement.
The client had a simple webpage with minimal information and a business proposition Power Point presentation, that they used to tell about their concept. My task was to use the information in the presentation to create a businesscard website, that will feel professional and compliment the App design.
Main points
> Refreshed design
> Website expansion
Process
The initial Musly website was basic in it’s details. As the client wished to attract more clients with their website, it was necessary to change the structure to represent the image that Musly strived to be.
Here are some of the changes that occured on the landing page:
>>> menu
Taking the background off of the menu created a more classy feeling of the landing screen.
>>> business description section
App screenshots were added to communicate the essence of the solution. The button “contact us” (see Before picture) was removed, and exchanged to an “About Musly” button. Initially the website did not have any set style guides, so I changed the button design and colors to represent a refreshed identity.
Links to the app download on AppStore and Google Play platform were added as an indirect call-to-action.
>>> adding information
New sections were added to advertise both the solution and the client’s business, as well as to communicate why would a museum need the solution in the first place.
>>> contact section
A contact form was added alongside the contact information to encourage the potential clients or anyone interested to contact Musly with any question/proposition.
Notes
Unfortunately Musly is inactive as of now.
